Shyann and Casey had a beautiful wedding at the Academy followed by a sweet outdoor reception at the O.O. Hower house on officers row. I love the excitement that comes with photographing someones wedding - the moments leading up to the big day, the anxiousness of the bride and bridesmaids as they're moments away from walking down the aisle and the look on the grooms face as he patiently awaits his bride. And it never fails - I cry at every wedding! Whether I know the couple or not. Meet aMaNdA ...   fun. bubbly. spunky. smart. sweet. BEAUTIFUL!

I love her willingness to try anything and be creative! We literally threw outfits together and threw them along with props in the car. Then down the road we went! It was a very unpredictable day with the weather. There was rain, then shine. We worked around and in the weather and everything turned out perfect! Amanda is so sweet and so much fun! I wouldn't have wanted to be stuck in the rain taking pictures with anyone else!

Ben and I went for a drive up the Gorge - both the Washington and Oregon side. It's one of our favorite getaways and where we share most our memories. I hadn't planned on taking pictures of him and I must say, I am pretty surprised he let me! :)

The flowers are for me - not Ben! I'm sure he would want me to make that clear! :)

Love, love, LOVE this family and was so excited to take their family portraits! Shelly has been a good friend for the past couple years. I've been able to cry and laugh with her many times when I needed it! Her kids are so sweet! Shelly and Chad have a beautiful family and I was so excited to visit with them and take photos. We had lots and lots of fun!
